ICMC Expansion Plans
Present Facilities
The present building has a total area of 1100 sq. feet (total land = 4.5 Acres) and consist of:
The land is in close proximity to wetlands, therefore, have limited used. The existing building can not be used for future expansion. The type of structure, orientation prohibits using this building. There is no public water & sewer facility available.
Plans for Expansion
In order to provide adequate physical facilities for now and future generation, both vertical and horizontal expansions are planned. In phase I, a single story building will be built. In phase II, second and third floor would be added over the 1st floor, thereby providing a total floor area of approximately 10,000 sq. feet.
Once the expansion project is completed, the facilities will have enough space for the following:
Funds Required
The total estimated cost of the immediate expansion is 2.25 million dollars. The project is planned for construction in two phases with each phase costing as shown below. The amount available to start the work on the project, raised locally through donations, is $300,000. A fund raising drive is planned to collect more funds in the coming months.
